Joyce Loraine Thomas (69) of Richmond, MO. passed away on February 21, 2026 at the Shirkey Nursing & Rehab Center, in Richmond, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Joyce was born on June 23, 1956, daughter of Fred James and Jeanette Faye (Reade) Callahan in Lexington, MO. She married Chad Matthews Thomas, who passed on February 15, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother James Michael Callahan, Great-Grandson Anders Rankin and Several Aunts & Uncles. She leaves behind her daughter Trisha Callahan, Nevada, MO. Two Brothers: Danny Callahan, Wellington, MO. and Paul (Gayle) Callahan , Lexington, MO. One Aunt, Virginia Beingham, Richmond, MO., A Grandson, Tyler Degraffenfeib, Corder, MO., A Granddaughter, Chelsey (Trenton) Rankin, Higginsville, MO., Great-Grandson, Beckett Tonnar, Higginsville, MO.
