One of his favorite things to do was to go the “Coffee Shop” in the afternoon and visit with his friends. Dale had health problems all of his life. As he grew older his health problems compounded and left him unable to do many of the things he enjoyed so he created new things to do for enjoyment and entertainment. Dale could be seen almost every day driving around town, checking things out and making sure that all was well in Wellington. When he could no longer work, Dale helped his brother Kent on the farm driving trucks, unloading grain and making sure the grass was always mowed. Dale also had a small enterprise, that was plowing many gardens around town. He loved animals and was especially fond of his cat, Casey. When his cat died Dale gave his attention to the many barn cats and chicken’s on his brothers farm.
