Connie Alice (Flynn) Ketteman, a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, of Lee’sSummit, MO passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Kansas City, MO on September, 17, 1953, and daughter of Charles and Della (Long) Flynn. Connie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael Ketteman; daughters Sandra Barnes, Independence, MO and Shannon (Daniel) Gibbins, Vinton, IA; grandchildren Kayla Jeffrey, Tyler (Fiancée Alexis Ann Vogel) Adkins, Seraiah (Andrew) Smith, Isaiah Gibbins, Stone Gibbins and Sapphire Gibbins; great-grandchild Ana; and sisters, Thelma Charline Ridgon, Judy Green, Sharen Billingsley and Rhonda Smith. She was proceeded in death by her daughter Stacey Lynn Ketteman, parents, Charles Flynn and Della Long, sister Della Pauline Bowen, brother James Flynn and brother Joseph Flynn. For several years, Connie worked at Underbrush Ltd., creating angel ornaments and natural wreaths, and later at Lee’s Summit North High School as a lunch lady and found joy in many hobbies, such as reading, porcelain dollmaking, genealogy, artificial flower arrangements, creating jewelry and crocheting. She cared deeply for her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a doting grandmother who never could resist getting another cute outfit for her grandbabies. She also loved hosting annual sister vacations. Her compassionate and generous heart blessed many. Connie’s legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered.
